Buddhist Monks lighting a Khom Loy to celebrate the incredible Loy Krathong Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand. 

This was the most uplifting and surreal evenings we spent in Southeast Asia. I knew it was going to be special, however I was completely mind blown the whole weekend celebrating 2 of the worlds greatest spiritual events; Yee Peng and Loy Krathong. It was challenging photographing the event, shoulder-to-shoulder with other photographer all wanting a piece of the magic. What really drew me to this frame was the Monk in the background taking photos on his camera, not something you see every day.  By Drew Hopper
